Searching for 2 production workers to build pallets.
The Wood Pallet Assembler/Builder constructs, repairs, and sorts wooden shipping pallets using hand tools, pneumatic nail guns, and pallet assembly machinery. This is a physically demanding, on-site role that requires assembling wood components to precise specifications, handling heavy materials, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. OT available and may have to work some Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble wooden pallets according to production specifications and quality standards
- Operate pneumatic nail guns, hand tools, and pallet assembly equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort and stack pallets by size, type, and condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or outdoor industrial environment
- Experience using nail guns, hand tools, or construction tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment:
- On-site position in a pallet manufacturing facility
- Exposure to wood dust, loud machinery, and varying temperatures
- Requires bending, lifting, standing, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
