Seeking motivated, hard-working individuals with attention to detail to work day shift position in a sawmill. Qualified candidates should be able to rotate through various job duties as assigned in designated workspace. Specific duties include shoveling debris and lifting and carrying boards to maintain a clean work environment. Must be able to work at a fast pace and to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. Manual tasks include but are not limited to: piling lumber, walking, shoveling debris, climbing stairs, bending, heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.), and operating moving mechanical equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and work together to maintain a safe working environment. Work environment will involve exposure to dust, moving mechanical equipment, and loud noises. Manufacturing and/or industrial work experience considered a plus. Knowledge of lumber manufacturing process would be an asset.
