We are seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
The ideal candidate has completed HVAC school or equivalent on-the-job training, has at least 2 years of HVAC experience, and is EPA certified. We're looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in quality workmanship.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems
Service and repair various makes and models of air conditioning units and furnaces
Install, repair, and service thermostats and ventilation systems
Work with and troubleshoot ductwork
Identify and replace faulty components
Perform routine HVAC maintenance
Provide customers with appropriate maintenance recommendations
Complete paperwork, service documentation, and invoices accurately and on time
Follow applicable safety procedures, codes, and regulations
Provide professional and courteous customer service
Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience required
Completion of HVAC school or equivalent on-the-job training
EPA certification required
Understanding of ductwork, AC units, furnaces, thermostats, and ventilation systems
Basic electrical and wiring knowledge
Welding and brazing knowledge/experience
Familiarity with press tools
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Candidates should have their own basic HVAC tools, including:
Tape measure
Gauges
Snips
Hand tools
Hand tongs
Other basic tools needed to perform HVAC service work
