We are seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers to assist with outdoor county maintenance and public works projects. This is a hands-on position involving repetitive physical labor and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Repair and replace county road and informational signage
Pick up trash and debris along county properties and roadways
Assist with clearing and opening pipes and drainage areas
Perform general outdoor maintenance and clean-up
Use basic tools and equipment as needed
Follow safety procedures while working near roadways and work zones
Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Valid driver's license required
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening
Ability to perform repetitive physical labor
Comfortable working outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
