We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to support maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems in a sawmill environment. This role is critical to maximizing uptime, production, and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot three-phase systems
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot motor controls, panels, transformers, and low-voltage systems
- Support production by resolving electrical issues quickly
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5 years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Electrical/Automation diploma or certification
- PLC knowledge/experience
- Experience in heavy industry or sawmill/lumber operations
Work Environment
- Industrial/sawmill setting
- Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and outdoor elements
- Physical work required (lifting, standing, climbing, etc.)
