This position is responsible for delivering furniture and other merchandise to customers while providing excellent customer service and ensuring products are delivered safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture and merchandise to residential and commercial customers
- Unpack and assist with placement of delivered items
- Load and unload furniture safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for damage prior to delivery
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Maintain delivery schedules and routes
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy furniture
- Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous work
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable with a positive attitude
- Furniture delivery or moving experience is a plus, but not required
