Job Summary
We are seeking two dependable Grounds Maintenance Workers to assist with maintaining city right-of-ways, parking lots, government buildings, and other city properties. This role involves operating light landscaping equipment and performing general outdoor maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Mow street right-of-ways and city properties
- Maintain parking lots, government buildings, and landscaped areas
- Operate light equipment including:
- Riding mower
- Small tractor
- Weed eater
- Blower
- Perform general grounds and maintenance duties as assigned
- Assist with scheduled maintenance of equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Some landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Experience operating light equipment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
