Corrections Officer will interact and monitor inmates.

This is a full time position with rotating shifts.

High School Diploma or GED

Current valid Georgia Driver's License

Five months training and or experience working with inmates or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities for this position

Must Pass P.O.S.T. entrance exam and become certified within six months as a Certified Corrections Officer 

Must be able to maintain that certification

Must pass a pre employment physical and drug screening

May be subject to chest x-ray and tuberculosis testing

Criminal Background will be checked
