Job Title: Electrician – Sawmill (Night Shift)

We’re currently hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician for a night shift position at a busy sawmill operation. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all electrical systems — ensuring machinery and equipment run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and mill equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical issues quickly to minimize downtime
Install and test new electrical components or systems as needed
Ensure all electrical work meets safety and compliance standards
Recommend and assist with electrical system upgrades and improvements
Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a sawmill or similar industrial setting
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, exposure to temperature variations)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on the night shift
